Scouting was founded on the premise of doing a Good Turn daily. Community service is very important in the character-building process and, as Scouts, we have made the commitment to give back to our communities.

In 2012 Troop 363 had 25 scouts, leaders and family members awarded the GOLD Presidential Volunteer Service Award. The President’s Volunteer Service Award recognizes United States citizens and lawfully admitted permanent residents of the United States who have achieved the required number of hours of service over a 12-month time period – or cumulative hours over the course of a lifetime. The gold level requires at least 1,000 hours served by the group members.

Troop 363 logged over 2,000 hours towards various community service projects earning the Gold!
